Can trust be measured?
Not with a single clean number — at least not honestly. That's why DollarAndGold doesn't score trust, and probably shouldn't until it can defend the methodology.
It would be convenient to reduce 'USD Trust' to a number like 83/100. It would also be dishonest: there is no widely agreed, rigorous methodology for turning institutional credibility, network adoption, or productive capacity into a single comparable score, and inventing one just to have a number would be fabricating certainty this platform explicitly refuses to produce.
What can be measured, and honestly shown, is the evidence underneath trust: price trend, volatility, correlation to related assets, and — where it exists — the specific data a claim rests on. That's the observed layer.
What can't be measured the same way — which sources of confidence currently matter most, what could change the picture — is interpretation, and DollarAndGold labels it as such rather than dressing it up as a score. A structured trust profile, not a fake number, is the honest version of this idea today.
